UNSA Pantry (Click & Collect) is part of UNSA's commitment to supporting students in our community. While UNSA includes both students and staff, this service is designed specifically for students, so they can access essential food and pantry staples when they need it most.

We believe access to nutritious food is a right, not a privilege. No student should have to choose between buying supplies for university and buying a meal. With rising living costs and the pressures of study, it can be difficult to make ends meet.

That's why we created UNSA Pantry (Click & Collect), a free online service that provides pantry staples to ease financial stress and help students stay focused on their studies. It's more than a service. It's UNSA supporting students.

What It Is

UNSA Pantry (Click & Collect) is UNSA's free online pantry service for students. Choose from a range of pantry staples at no cost.

Why We Do It

We believe no student should have to choose between their education and a meal. UNSA Pantry (Click & Collect) is here to ease financial pressure and tackle food insecurity among students.

What You Get

From pasta and rice to long-life milk and canned goods, you can choose up to 5 free pantry staples each week to keep your cupboards stocked and your studies on track. Please pick what you need and think about other students with what you order, so there is enough to go around. Try not to take too much of any one item.

How UNSA Pantry (Click & Collect) works

Pickups are on Tuesday and Thursday. Place your order before the cutoff, then collect your pre-packed order during pickup hours.

Bring your own bag (required)

Bringing your own bag is a condition of using UNSA Pantry (Click & Collect). Bring your student card, your UNSA membership and your own reusable bags. Your order is packed into a UNSA bag to keep it organised, but our bags stay on site, so please transfer your items into your own bags to take home.

Important Information for Students

  • One order per student per week, so we can support as many students as possible.
  • You must collect your order between 9:30am and 4pm on your chosen pickup day: Tuesday or Thursday. Pickup windows may sometimes vary due to public holidays and breaks.
  • Bring your student card and your UNSA membership with you, as we ask to see both when you collect your order.
  • Repeated missed pickups without notice may result in restricted access to the service, as spots are limited and missed collections affect other students.
  • You must bring your own reusable bags to collect your order. Bringing your own bag is a condition of using the pantry. Your items are packed into a UNSA bag to keep them organised, but our bags stay on site, so you'll need to transfer your items into your own bags.

Can I change my order after I've placed it?

Contact the UNSA team before the cutoff if you need to make a change. Once the cutoff has passed, your order is locked in for packing.

What happens if I miss my pickup day?

If you can't make your pickup day, contact the UNSA team as soon as possible to discuss your options.

What if I place an order but don't collect it?

Spots are limited, so repeated missed pickups without notice may affect your ability to keep using the service. If you can't make it, please let us know ahead of time so someone else can use the spot.

Can someone else collect my order for me?

Yes. Please contact the UNSA team in advance and let us know the name of the person collecting your order, so we can verify it at pickup.

How many times can I order each week?
